About

Hi there, I'm Cristina. Thanks for stopping by!

I'm an Ecuadorian artist and artisan, beading and making ceramics in the forest, very slowly and with a lot of love. I live on Wabanaki land with my husband, magical woodworker and guitar-builder Myles, and our pups Moose and Baloo. We came out here searching for our little pedacito de cielo in the safe embrace of mountains and nestled among trees, and now we spend our days communing with the forest and exploring our crafts. I feel most at home outside frolicking in the mountains, behind a book, or engaging in discussions that interrogate systems of oppression and are generative of a kinder and more inclusive future. I like writing fiction, wielding words and crafting worlds, and I also work with teens at a boarding school which brings me a lot of joy. I'm really happy you came across my work and I'm excited to continue sharing.
